Every guide on Stallion Drivers Ed is based on official California sources, checked fact by fact, and reviewed by the instructors of Stallion School of Driving, a California DMV-licensed driving school (license E0271). AI tools help us draft; people check every fact before a page goes live.
Who writes and reviews the guides?
Stallion Drivers Ed is run by Stallion School of Driving in Chico. Our instructors teach behind-the-wheel training every week, and their teaching method is published on stallion-school.com (opens in a new tab). Notes marked "From our instructors" come from that method and from what we see in our own lessons.
Where do the facts come from?
- Rules, ages, tests and forms: the California DMV website, the California Driver's Handbook and the California Vehicle Code.
- Course facts: the price and process on Stallion's Traffic Tutors enrollment page, and Traffic Tutors' own course page.
- Local pages: the DMV's field office list, the California Department of Education school directory, California Department of Finance population estimates, and the DMV Occupational License Lookup for driving schools.
- Other providers' prices: each provider's own page, with the date we read it.
Each guide lists its sources at the bottom with the date we checked them. We do not invent statistics, students, quotes or reviews.
How is each guide made?
- We collect the questions families really ask and the official pages that answer them.
- A draft is written, sometimes with help from an AI tool, using only those sources.
- Every age, number, fee, form name and rule is matched to a source line. Anything we cannot match is removed.
- An automatic check rejects filler, wrong prices or facts, missing sources, and wording copied from other websites.
- A Stallion instructor reviews the practical advice, and the page shows the review date.
How does Stallion make money from this site?
Stallion is authorized to sell the Traffic Tutors online course and receives a referral share when you enroll through our links. That is the only payment we receive from a course provider. Our price comparisons list other providers too, and the guides are free whichever course you choose.
How do you keep pages current and fix mistakes?
We recheck the official sources regularly and change the "Updated" date only when the content really changes. Local data such as DMV office hours is refreshed from the source and dated on the page. If you find a mistake, tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.
